Fortunately, a part of the WWI Allied Expeditionary Force is also there, with a mission to guard the Trans-Siberian Railroad long enough for the allied Czech Legion to escape. As a secondary mission, the AEF soldiers are to recover as much of the allied-provided military supplies as possible. The Russian military failed to pay for the materiel (a minor matter of a mostly-successful revolution) so President Wilson wants them back!
