When the beginning of a good day is ruined by a forceful request, Mikel is compelled to confront the oft ignored reality that the world was no longer sustainable. His popular advice column "Dear Corrigan" is a throwback to an earlier, more optimistic time when people believed there were answers to life's problems. Still an idealistic romantic if a little battered and bruised, Mikel leans into one of the rogue Artificial Intelligences, who have a goal of saving humanity from itself. At least, everyone hopes the A.I. do. Eh, time and events will tell.

Thought provoking possibility of our own future.

This was a pretty good read. A dark possibility of our own near-future if we don't change the way we treat our planet. The sad part is most every aspects of this Work tracks with the reality we live in and could actually happen. I enjoyed this as an entertaining adventure but it was quite thought provoking at the same time. AI, society well into decay and a dying planet what's not to like?
Contemplating if AI in the world will help or hinder

Scary to think of how quickly we may be reaching an environmental point if no return. Will AI help or hinder the development of options hostile or supportive of our species even if the options bring a new paradigm?
