The Agency wanted a strong telepath, they got a weak psychokinetic. Not really a wizard, despite the Agency's code name, the man known as 'T' is an esper with a number of paranormal Talents.
What to do with him? After all, we've spent a lot of money and Congress is going to want to see a return on their investment! They sent him to the Army to find out if his Talent was useful, and the Army sent him to Afghanistan. Then forgot about him.
During his tour, he found out that the Agency had been fearful of their creations and had installed a 'control' by planting a small explosive charge in each student's neck. And when Congress started asking questions, fearful executives had used that control to remove the embarrassing telepaths.
Except for two. T, and the strong telepath known as Surfer, went into hiding before the Agency couold trigger the explosive charges.
This is their story. It's also a story of discovery, and of the lingering effects combat creates in veterans.
If you like stories of fascinating characters with astonishing abilities, but also a human side, then Combat Wizard is for you.
