Great story over all, this book was a little slow

I love this series and check almost daily for the next release, but found book 10to be a little slow. I think it could have been edited down and progressed the story a lot farther. I was hoping to see David start making purchases and leveling up. Also not a fan of the Lori being then next super member of the sect angle.
