Must read the first book before this one

Excellent story with a rich and well thought out environment and story premise. It really pulls the reader in and keeps the interest level up with the flow of the story and the dips and turns in the story line. One caution however is that the first book in the series, Make The Cut, should really be read before this second book is started. Otherwise much of the background and situation development will be missing. I will definitely be purchasing the other books in this series as they become available.
