The Handyman-Book 1 Cheerleaders Delight

Welcome to my new series introducing Pete Longfellow. Pete is a sort of an all-around handy guy to know. He can fix your toilet, do a kitchen remodel, provide bodyguard services, derail a motorcycle gang, or take out an assassin sniper.
Join Pete on his first adventure in this spicy Romantic Thriller series as he goes back to school to protect a sexy cheerleader who also happens to be the only daughter of a prominent Senator.
I’m planning at least 2 more stories for the Handyman, possibly more. FYI this series is set in the Nexus universe, if you’ve read those, you may even have recognized some of the characters! There will likely be more crossover from the main Nexus series in the upcoming books. If you haven’t already, you can read the entire main Nexus series here: https://bookapy.com/a/132/ce-savage

Less supernatural.

While not as much magic as the rest of the Nexus stories, has well thought out action and a very human cast.Started well; but became jarring

The book after a fairly short while disrupted my ability to suspend disbelief and then kept disrupting that disbelief at irregular intervals through to the end. I’m not really sure what the disruptive aspect of the story was; but it made the book a misery to finish. Not a book I’d recommend and I really had to force myself to read it to the end simply to see if the book either would improve or let me figure out what was making it such a painful read.
