A man, a prodigy, in from the slums, the only scholarship student. Spends four years studying to become a Guras, to find that only certain “people” were ever assigned. The Senior Guras to the biggest temples around the Kingdom. If you do not fit into their “category”, no matter what you could accomplish, where would be sent? This is an excellent story dealing with god and a patriarchal society.d_oh_7

I thought this book was well-written and worth the money. I would have paid MORE to get a tale that was longer. I thought it ended too soon.
