Well written; but barely a start

This is barely more than the first several chapters of a book; needs to be heavily proofread for synonyms, homonyms and badly selected words; and cuts off irritatingly abruptly. Still, the character is an interesting one and it would have been interesting to see it and the storyline developed, especially for the cost. That cost left me feeling quite ripped off and thus the downcheck for this smidge of writing and its author.
