The world he was used to, in which he had to fight for every bit of joy he got, was turned upside down by caretakers who treated him with both respect and love. He started by scamming them, and then had to keep the ruse going. In the process it changes his life completely, and that of the women who ran the small orphanage in Mid America during WW II.

Well written, but then again I did not expect any less from Mr. Lubrican as I have read many of his novels before. Well done Sir, well done.
