It's a crowded sky, even on Christmas Eve. And while the Air Force tracks Santa's sleigh by radar while it's over the US (I know you've seen the blips on TV) they don't keep track of him everywhere else. So what if an Army paratrooper, making a jump in Germany on Christmas Eve landed on Santa's sleigh, instead of the ground? What if, when that happened, Santa was knocked out? Would Christmas be ruined? Not if somebody else finished the route. And who better than the man who caused the problem in the first place? And if he didn't really understand what he was getting into as he was given the magical ability to do what Santa does, that would just be another case of not reading the fine print. But even with the magic he'd need a little help. What does a paratrooper know about being Santa, after all? Who would you send with him? Would it be a beautiful, sexy, blond, elf girl? Might some sparks fly as they saved Christmas, together? Could that have immense consequences at the North Pole and on the future of Christmas? Of course it would. This is a Lubrican story.
