When his mother told him to read to his sister, Heather, it was because she had been in a coma for six months. His mom believed she could hear voices in her coma, and not only read to her but talked to her, too. Left alone for an extended time while his parents were gone, Bobby didn't really want to do it. But, he did. He started with what his mother had told him to read, but then switched to comic books, because they were more interesting to him and, if she could hear him, then to her, too, maybe. He didn't think she could hear him, though, which is why he confessed some things to her, things of a personal nature, things he was afraid she'd call him a pervert for if she was awake. Eventually he read her some dirty stories, about brothers and sisters who were closer than was allowed. He got so fired up while reading that he started jerking off.

And that's when she woke up. Waking up, though, was just the beginning of things for them.
