INTEMPERANCE V - Circles Collide
by Al Steiner
Language: English
Categories: Fiction » Literature
Format: EPUB
Content Rating: Older than 17
The fifth book in the long running Intemperance series, widely considered to be the best book of the series. Many changes come about to the lives of Jake Kingsley and Matt Tisdale with lots of colorful new characters introduced and expanded on. Both Matt and Jake are booked to play the same music festival. How is this going to work for them? Matt also comes to the attention of some suits who work in an office building in Washington DC while Jake decides to purchase a new airplane. Celia finds an interesting way to cope with her divorce from Greg Oldfellow.

I am looking forward to Matt's further adventures in the Cath Lab. Perhaps a nice Second Degree Heart Block Mobitz II progressing into V. Fib and the resulting stents and implanted pacemaker/defibrillator? A cautionary tale for those whose maladaptive coping mechanisms include nose candy. We know as an old medic and nurse, the author has it in him...good job!

Another great installment in the Imtemp story. Great pacing and enough drama to keep you turning the pages. I read the whole thing in one day.

Best of the series so far and well worth the cost to get it all in one piece.
Advances the story nicely and checks a few boxes on the wishlist along the way.
Well Done!

Great addition to the series

Read this in two sessions. Pacing is great perfect - not too fast or too slow. The mix of dialogue to narrative is spot on. One of my personal bug-bears are novels with way too much dialogue. The story itself is fun and doesn't feel repetitive.
