With the Carthaginians pushed inside the walls of Londiumun, the Britannians can finally stop reacting and take the fight to them. Hoping to retake the British Isles and even add new allies to the Alliance, legions are dispatched to Ériu, the emerald isle, to push back Carthaginian expansion there. Ky, a test pilot from the future and now Consul for the Britannic Empire, knows that Carthaginian retaliation is coming and prepares an explosive new surprise for the invaders.

Great addition to the series.

Really well paced and interesting. The conclusion leaves enough for it to be satisfying but not a cliffhanger. Anticipating the next one in this series.

Technical Progress and the Road to Enlightened Rule

This is an entirely plausible alternate universe where Kyle, a man from the future, is able to somehow use his knowledge to see off the immediate Carthaginian threat to Roman Britain. Collecting friends and allies and with the help of his now sentient personal computer he is able to cobble together an acceptable plan to develop Britannia. But it's not without problems. This really is a refreshing read that follows on so well from the two previous volumes. The author is inspiring as are the characters he introduces to the plot.

Good read, looking forward to the next one

The story moves on with a welcome development of characters other than Ky which elevates the story to another level. Well crafted with multiple arenas of action skilfully maintained. I am now looking forward to the next volume in the saga.

The book is well written and consistent with the previous books. Looking forward to the continuation of the story. The progression of technology seems very well thought out.
