The trials, tribulations, and debauchery of the fictional 1980s rock band Intemperance. A hilarious and sometimes frightening look at the day to day lives of a suburban garage band as they rise from the small city club scene to national fame. There is plenty of sex, drugs, and rock and roll to go around, but fame comes at a high price as ruthless record company executives work at every turn to control them and exploit their names while they try to remain true to their music. A well-researched look at the realities of popular music and the record industry in the late twentieth century

Al Stiner is a great author, easy to read and interesting characters. So far I'm thru the first 3 Intemperance books and they are very enjoyable. I really wish he would post his Greeny series of books here. They explain how our country got where it is today and where it is going.
