This is a story in the Man of Power universe that focuses on the character of Rashmika Mandanna who is married and lives in a small flat with her husband. She and her husband would soon be homeless if they cannot afford to buy their own place. They desperately need help which can only come from Ravi's boss - Vikas Malhotra. He may not be able to help them in the normal manner but they know that he likes Rashmika a lot. Could that solve their problems? At what cost?
It is kind of a spin-off from the Man of Power series. The plot is the same in this story - Rashmika is married to Ravi, they are financially struggling and need to get their own place but don't have money for it. I can't tell you how far the story gets in the first book, that would spoil it but I can say that it hasn't yet got to the point which it has reached in the main timeline. There are a lot of extra scenes, mostly with Rashmika and the progression is still along that same plot line. I changed some of the events in subtle ways and added scenes to make it more spicy and enjoyable.
If you have been paying attention to the Rashmika storyline in MOP you would remember from the last chapter in MOP2 that Rashmika met Vikas in a Diwali party in VisCom. Then she went to the VisCom New Year party as well. These events are only mentioned as she is talking to her husband. In this book, that's where the story starts. I have done some subtle changes to the story based on what we know about the characters now and also because when you change your POV you learn new things about a story that you thought you knew.
