The Richard Jackson Saga Book 15 The Lunar Kingdom

Content Rating: All Ages
Coming of age stories don’t have to be all teenage angst. They can be fun-filled adventures that become more serious with age. With humor, we follow a young man’s coming of age in the late 1950s. Starting in the summer before his freshman year, he goes through high school and beyond. He finds wealth as an inventor and fame in Hollywood as he searches for a girlfriend. Wealth and fame prove far easier than girls.
The Fifteenth Book has Rick exploring the moon and outer space.
Danger, fame and fortune, and adventure seem to be his lot in life. He connects with the love of his life. His actions have caused a change in history as we know it. He and Russia have their final confrontation. Then there is the moon and the outer reaches to explore.
This tongue-in-cheek saga is all true, give or take a lie or two.

Another great addition to the series. It's thought-provoking and has some little gems of humor added in. I think I'd like to live in 'this' universe!

Really enjoyed this mind-blowing step into an alternate world. I would like to see Rick spend a little more time with his family on Earth in the next installment just for a change of pace.

Good beginning but turns to sci-fi for most of the book

This was for me the toughest book in the series so far to get through. The first third is good and I loved the chapter on Mary, and wish there were more chapters like that. Or maybe she should get her own series?
It started to go downhill for me when Richard is named king. It was also disappointing that he and Mayling get together with almost no fanfare. Surely they would have had an interesting discussion before they decide to go for it.
After that, most of the story is told from space. I get it, but I simply didn’t enjoy it as much. Down Under was a great book filled with multiple different storylines. This book doesn’t have that, and suffers accordingly. 3/5*

I was eager to read this book after having read the other 14.I tried real hard but,i had to stop.I was totally bored with this book by chapter 21.I kept expecting to read about the further adventures of Rick, but nothing happened.
I couldnt care less what was happening on the moon, there were no witnesses except the people who were there and they were busy basically terra forming the moon.
The May Ling romance after all they went thru over the years,it took place in a sentence.Total let down.
For me this series ended with book 14.
I couldnt get into this book at all,and i stopped reading it,and havent finished it,and i have no plans of doing it.
