The Richard Jackson Saga
Book 10: Taking Care of Business
In the early 1960s, Rick has to start paying attention to his businesses. Starting with a challenge from an Oxford Don’s challenge and ending with a serious look at his business empire he finds that he has to be involved. If he doesn’t pay attention millions of people could starve due to the untimely death of Chairman Mao.
With humor, we follow a young man’s coming of age in the late 1950s. Starting in the summer before his freshman year this series follows the young man through his high school life and beyond. He finds that fame and fortune cannot protect him from everything.
He learns that being sent down from Oxford is not the end of the world. It is also reaffirmed that broken arms and bullet wounds hurt.
This tongue in cheek saga is all true, give or take a lie or two.

Another fantastic entry for Richard Jackson.

Just as with the nine books before this one, I loved this! There is a strong emphasis on the businesses while clearing a few loose plots points up.

I did think that the spy who got off in Miami wasn’t really addressed. They name the guy but nothing else happens. The trip was interesting, solving some issues but not all of them.

Personally I would love see another movie in the next book. We’ll see if that happens. Golf is also short shifted this time around.

There are editing errors but nothing serious enough to get in the way of enjoying the book. I do plan to read it again when it’s on Amazon, just like I have for every other book. I don’t know what the relationship is between Ed Nelson and Greg Younger, but there’s something there.

I am great fan of the series and signed up to Bookapy just to get this book. If you are familer with a bit about post WWII history it is a fun nostalgic fantasy.

This story is a great read on its own. It is the next step in the Richard Jackson epic saga. I had lots of great moments with his hidden gems, references to people, situations, and products. Well worth your time and attention!!

Not as good as the others!

I was very disappointed in this book. There were many accent and grammar errors, plot holes, and anachronisms. I look forward to the next book and hope that it is better.
