Best friends Lee and Kyle were signed aboard the Starship Fortune as crew, with ninety-eight other souls to go and explore the Delta Pavonis Star System.
Lee and Kyle are settling in on the ship. They have met some people they are beginning to care very deeply for and finding some other people are never happy. Kyle has found Debora, but he was unsure if she actually understood his nature. She has issues with trust and her own self-worth. Lee has found Sean but wasn't sure if she had found true love, but she had no problems with the sex.
Strange events aboard the ship plagued Lee, and the anonymous emailer was still out there. Rodger Bartlett still bothers her, and she wonders if she should have taken him out like she did Dr Syd Adams, only time will tell.
They have reached their destination only to find that the Delta Pavonis System has many surprises for the crew of the Fortune.
