This is the immediate follow on from book 2. Read book 2 before this one.
Difficult to review without spoilers!
But Duncan achieves a compelling tension right away that I couldn’t stop reading until about half way. He brings the trilogy to a temporary conclusion with sufficient open threads to add more. Very well done.
One of the best written I’ve read here or on SOL. I did not find 1 error, and I usually stumble on (or should I say over) them.
