The plot is generally good but has a few holes in it, but the main issue is the story stops dead before any credible completion point.tedsch47

I liked what there was of it however it needs to be completed. As it now stands, I feel cheated.

it's obvious that Mr Carter feels justified in NOT following the cherished tradition of stories having a beginning, a middle and an end.
He's got the beginning and middle parts down well, good plot, good tension, likable characters and decent development, but seems to end his tales like a punch line to a long joke. it appears the joke is on me since I purchased 3 of his tales, 2 of which have failed to deliver a consequential ending; appropriate for a free site perhaps but not for patrons willing to part with a shilling or two to support his efforts.
seems a betrayal of sorts.
