This Omnibus / Collection, combines Books 1 amp; 2 of the "An Indian Mother" series. Both "Mid-Life Crises" and "Mid-Life Awakening" are brought to you here in a single edition!

An Indian Mother: Mid-Life Crises

The book traces the life of an Indian woman, a married mother of two.  It charts the beginnings of a fresh turn in her journey, as she awakens to the existing void that appears to be her mid-life.  What she chooses to do, and how she goes about it, is as empowering as it is titillating.  Brought up in the conservative, staid confines of her society, her coming out of the shell is a tale of owning her femininity, sexuality and desires.

The story begins with Sumana, a married, mother of two, in her mid-40s.  She has increasingly frustrated with the staid monotony of everyday life.  Her husband, Shashi, is unable to give her the attention she needs - and coupled with the tragic events in her elder daughter's life, Sumana has quite had enough.

She decides that a break, away from the confines of her home, is what's needed to reset her life.  She is joined by her two daughters - Savita and Sanjana - on a vacation.  Everything changes, from there on...

An Indian Mother: Mid-Life Awakening

This story continues from the previous Volume - "An Indian Mother - Mid-Life Crises".

It follows the story of Sumana, after her encounters in Volume One.  How she processes this new version of herself that has been unearthed, and narrates her quest to find companionship among her own daughters.  Does she find a like-minded, and open approach, to life among them? Will they join her in her quest to uncover the vast opportunities that lay ahead for her?

This story is steamier, a bit harder around the edges, and necessarily hotter under the collar than Book-1!
