You don't have code clearance to read this. It's above Top Secret. If you know about the Sword, Shield and Guard, you've violated statutes that will get you tossed into a deep, dark hole in some black site. You've been warned. This story should never have come out. The author who wrote it is missing. There's sex, violence, adventure, politics, the President is involved. I shouldn't have said that.

This is the second book.

Solid bases, but execution is ... meh

Story is interesting if hard to follow. On one hand, it's as designed to be cryptic as we're not read into the SSG. That's well done. Easily 3 stars material On the other, grammar is confusing. Often times, ranks, and pronouns (he vs she) will be misused. If grammarly reviewed this book, this should serve as a PSA to NOT use it. Or entire sections seem to be missing. Time and location changes aren't mentioned, until the context doesn't make sense and you get new clues to re-build the new context. A simple horizontal line would've already warned the reader of a change in context, but there's nothing, you're on your own. I'd probably have been lenient on this book and given it a 3 stars had it not been for the publisher to question whether another reader pointing grammar and syntax issues actually read the thing. I can confirm, the book is riddled with grammar, syntax and continuity issues. And the agent should fire his editor.
Im Not Telling Reply:

FROM THE AGENT: So in examining things, what we have here is a classic case of trolling. A troll is someone who, purposefully and with malicious intent, attempts to cause bad will toward another. When we look at this review, we first notice that it was copied and pasted onto both books. So, the reviewer paid for one book, decided to slam it, and then bought a second book, not because he wanted to continue reading the story, but, because he wished to bring malice to the author. This is a classic troll maneuver. Further, at the time of me writing this, there are 5 reviews in, and this book has a 4-star rating. That means all four other reviewers gave it FIVE STARS, and this lone troll gave it one. What are the odds on four other reviewers giving a book FIVE STARS if one star is valid? So, yes, it's easy to kick an author who is no longer around, but when a troll goes out of their way to post the same review in two places, well, take that for what you will. Thank you.
