Forward: So much silliness happened in my time in uniform, and it all happened to me or my friends, or our teammates, and if I recorded it all, I'd never finish writing. Back in 2018 at the Army Navy game, I met celebrity chef Robert Irvine, and he asked me how long I was in the US Air Force. I said, "20 years and 2 days." He then asked, "Why did you say two days?" I said, "Because I don't want to forget a minute."

So much happened. From loading nuclear weapons in life threatening cold, to relaxing on a tropical beach because the unit took off and left me behind, none of it matches the one year I spent in the Wolf Pack at Kunsan Air Base as a proud Juvat. I wrote this story because I wanted to have a place to record the fun I had in the last refuge of the real air force. So much of this story actually happened, and much of it was toned down in this story to make the guilty feel less stupid. On the other hand, I made stuff up too.

Our friends from We're a Wonderful Wife are here mostly because I feel guilty about ending that series. I wanted to hear from Don and Lanh one last time.
