The Regiment is a civilian paramilitary organization. Mostly comprised of former soldiers of the civil war, both north and south. These former combat soldiers have banded together for mutual support, but in the process have become defenders and protectors.

But as time goes on, those veterans age and the decision is made to bring new blood into the fold.

This story is about a group of young men and women that join the regiment. They start out as individuals but become a team and then part of the family.
