There are two things that Trinity loves — College and MMA. Working as a teacher’s aide, while completing her final year of study, keeps her active in the welding and fabrication program and very close to her mentor and former instructor. Things are great until she becomes concerned by the disturbing behavior of three disgruntled students. After they insinuate grisly atrocities, she shares her concerns with the powers that be only to be ignored. Meanwhile, she pursues her other passion of improving her standings in the women's amateur MMA league — aspiring to one day go against the notorious and undefeated ‘Crippler’. This story contains descriptive sex, violence, and gore. There is cheating, fighting, killing, and profanity.

Continuing the Stories of Members of Carter's Family

This story deals with the emotional impact organized and random violence has on a young woman, her efforts to reduce the randomness, and prepare for the organized violence. As you read the story, you feel her uncertainty and her reactions to the violence. While she recovers rather quickly to the immediate event, you can see a lot of therapy for her PTSD in her future. At least she has a supportive family group and something outside of herself to care about: new babies. There is hope. A new reader to the story line must read the earlier Carter Davis stories to understand and get the impact of this story - but it is a good read. Trinity is sooo better.

Do not try to rewrite Trinity into a nicer person. Leave her a hard person.texmex5227
