About

Marc Nobbs is an enigma wrapped in a mystery shrouded in a cloak of ambiguity.

He first came to prominence on the internet in 1998 and stuck around annoying people until around 2007. Then he disappeared without a trace.

But in 2015 he reappeared and announced he’d been kidnapped by aliens and they did weird sexual experiments on him.

Consequently, Marc isn’t exactly sane. He’s not insane either. He’s somewhere in-between.

He has allegedly slept with thousands of women and hundreds of men, but this claim may be based on his rather sick dreams and nightmares rather than reality.

None of this is true, however.

Marc’s twitter profile reads, “Gentlemen Author, Bean Counter, Born & Bred Wulfrun, Husband, Dad. But not in that order.”

Marc started writing as a hobby just after leaving university in 1998, and in 2005 his first short story was published by the illustrated erotic story website Ruthie’s Club. The illustration for “Scratched” by Gloklund was pretty cool. In all Marc had 13 stories published and illustrated by Ruthie’s Club. Marc’s first Westmouthshire novel was released in 2009 and in 2011 Marc launched Parkland Independent Books to gain more control over the publishing process.

Originally from Wolverhampton in The Black County, Marc now lives in the Northamptonshire countryside just a stone’s throw from where Princess Diana is buried and the Gunpowder Plot was plotted. It’s a far cry from his inner‐city roots, but that’s what an education does for you. He studied Physics at the University of Aberystwyth and Education at the University of Swansea. He now works as the Legal Accounts specialist at a local Law firm.

When he’s not writing, blogging, counting other people’s money or being a loving husband and father, Marc enjoys the peace and quiet of his allotment, where he grows all types of quite magnificent fruit and vegetables.
