Chapter 1

Mom woke Chase up and said breakfast was almost ready, so hurry, and she left, giggling. He looked down, and he had a hard-on that would quit. So, Chase got up, showered, and cared for it. The color was golden when he came, and he thought it would never stop. After his shower, Chase quickly dressed and went to the kitchen. While they ate, Mom said we should head home soon to avoid traffic, and everyone agreed.

After breakfast, we packed, and Paula said she was riding back to Newport Beach with Anna. After locking up the cabin, we hugged and kissed Paula and Anna goodbye and took off for home. We followed them home most of the way until they took the exit for Paula’s townhouse. When we got home, a notice was in the mailbox telling us to call the Secret Service.

After unloading the Arcadia and getting settled, Mom asked what I would do about the notice. Chase told her nothing and that he was not answering any questions. Besides, it could be a fake notice from the media to get my input for a story. We ate a late lunch, and then he hiked to the top of the hill, stripped, sat on his rock, and meditated. When Chase reached his plane, he went deeper, and the tension left his body, and then he gathered the energy surrounding him. Then, Chase received a massive burst of information that left him dizzy for a few minutes as he exited his meditative state.

Returning to the house, Chase changed clothes and shot hoops until Mom called him inside. He went upstairs, cleaned up, returned to the kitchen, and ate dinner. Mom asked what I had planned for the week, and Chase said to return to his normal routine. I’ve been thinking about school, and attending classes with my notoriety may be difficult. It’s not the girls I’m worried about, but they could be trouble. It’s the jealous boyfriends and the problems they can cause me with a fight.

Grandmother and Mom said shit, and Chase agreed. They asked what I’d do, and I told them to meet with Mr. Johnson before school started. If necessary, I’ll test out of the physical classes or, if offered, take them online. He could still program for Professor Ren Kimura a few days a week. The positive side is that if a movie or modeling job came up, he could do it and not miss classes.

After dinner, we watched the news, and the district attorney filed charges against the Secret Service Agents. According to the police, the agents couldn’t tell them where they picked up the prostitutes or what they looked like, so their story was unbelievable. They laughed, and he said goodnight, went to his bedroom, sensed the area, and fell asleep. Then, Chase received a massive burst of information that almost woke him up, but it stopped, and he fell into a deep sleep.

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. It was his first exercise, except shooting hoops, in several days. It was also the first after his New Year’s alteration by the alien race. Chase immediately noticed the difference while working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour. He had more energy, speed, and power than before. He returned to his room feeling energized and pumped.

After his shower, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, ate breakfast with Grandmother, and drank his protein shake. Grandmother told him to be careful if he went out because the Secret Service could attempt to detain him for questioning. Chase told her he would, but it would be incredibly stupid on their part. Mom entered the kitchen and told Chase to call Paula and tell her what was happening.

Chase called Paula and told her about the notice to contact Alan Berk, Supervising Agent of the Secret Service. Paula said Let me make a call, and I’ll call you back. She called back 15 minutes later, laughing, and told me to disregard the notice. Alan Berk was the supervisor of the two men arrested. Agent Berk was told internal affairs was investigating the incident, and now he’s suspended too.

Then, Mom brought up school and the potential problems he had raised. Paula said Chase was right about the risk. She recommended he talk to his school advisor. So he left them talking and called Mr. Johnson. He laughed and said I’ve been expecting your call, Chase. We reviewed his schedule, and he would test out of Paradigms of Programming and Artificial Intelligence. Then, he will add Software Engineering, Data Structures, and Algorithms to his online classes.

Mr. Johnson said Professor Ren Kimura requested your help again this semester, and you can attend the labs you need on Tuesday or Wednesday. So we agreed on the same schedule as last semester, and Chase thanked him for his help, and they said goodbye. Returning to the kitchen, Grandmother and Mom were still on the phone with Paula. Chase asked if they had yet gotten to his first woodie, and everyone laughed.

Paula was still chuckling and told Chase he needed to fly Anna and me back to Arizona tomorrow morning. We want to arrive under the radar so David doesn’t know where Anna is yet. Chase asked what time, and she said to pick them up at 7:30 a.m. You can return in the afternoon or stay over and return on Thursday morning. Paula told him to bring an overnight bag just in case, and they said goodbye.

They ate lunch, and then Chase took the agents’ phones to the cave and turned one on. There was no signal, so he hacked into the phone. It was easy, and he wondered if it was a gift from his alien friends. The phone numbers were a dead end. But the texts, he hit the jackpot and found out the Senate Minority Whip, Calvin White, ordered my surveillance. Then he checked the agent’s email, got Calvin’s email to which they had arranged to send their reports, and memorized it. Chase shut the phone off and left both phones in the cave.

Then Chase stopped by the cave pool, took a dip, and the energy rushed into him. When he was full, Chase exited the pool, dressed, and returned home. An hour before dinner, he went to the study and emailed Calvin White from his anonymous Hotmail account. He put “Surveillance Report” in the subject line and attached his worm. Chase figured Calvin couldn’t resist opening it and hit send.

Then Chase checked his cloud account 15 minutes later and found a copy of Calvin White’s hard drive and a back door to his computer. First, he accessed Calvin’s computer, deleted the email, and emptied the recycle bin. Then Chase checked his photos, and Calvin had a kink. He was into BDSM and had pictures of a black mistress giving him punishment. He was laughing his ass off when Mom called him to dinner.

During dinner, Mom asked if he was planning on returning tomorrow afternoon. Chase said yes, I’m planning on it, but it depends on what must be done when they arrive and the weather. If you plan something, make it Thursday for a sure thing, and Grandmother laughed. Then he added that there is always the possibility of Cassy and the horses kidnapping me. It was their weekend, and the ransom could be high, like two weekends in a row. Grandmother and Mom laughed and said Be sure you’re home Thursday.

After dinner, we watched the news. The commentator reported that the Governor of Arizona was holding an important news conference tomorrow morning. Speculation is that it has something to do with the HIV outbreak, but we’ll have to wait and see. Then they went on to other news, and finally, the weather segment came on. The weatherman forecasted clear skies with cooler temperatures through the weekend and gusty winds in the afternoon.

When the news ended, Chase told them he would return Thursday morning because of the afternoon winds, said goodnight, and went to his bedroom. Chase practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. He received another massive burst of information as he drifted deeper into Neverland. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm, and Chase couldn’t understand the rest of what she said.

Chase awoke at 4 a.m., dressed in sweats, ran around our subdivision, sensed every house, and then returned home. After showering, he dressed, packed, went to the kitchen, ate breakfast with Grandmother, and drank his protein shake. After breakfast, he hugged Grandmother goodbye and drove to Paula’s townhouse.

Paula answered the door in her bathrobe and pulled him inside. Anna was in her bathrobe, too, closed and locked the door while Paula pulled down my pants. They gave him a dual blow job and shared when he came. He grabbed the wall for support while the energy rushed through him. Chase looked at Paula and Anna, and in addition to shaking and moaning, they had a golden glow around them. It was new, and he wondered if the alien treatments caused it.

After pulling up his pants, he helped them up, spanked their butts, and told them to get moving. They laughed and left to get dressed, and Chase loaded their bags in the Tahoe. On the way to the airport, Anna’s phone rang, and she asked Paula to access CNN on her phone. David is holding a news conference in a few minutes, and CNN is covering it. Paula downloaded the CNN app, and we arrived at the airport and waited.

The news conference started with Governor Bradford saying it was a sad day for the State of Arizona. Then he told everyone Senator Daniel Brook had an announcement to make, stepped away from the podium, and waved Senator Brook forward. Senator Brook said he notified Governor Bradford that he’s resigning from the Senate effective immediately. Over the holiday break, my doctors told me my heart condition was getting worse. They told me to retire or risk a major heart attack. Daniel said he had planned to retire at the end of his term in 2026.

Senator Brook asked Governor Bradford to appoint Anna Brandford to serve his remaining term. He’s known her all her life; she has what it takes to represent Arizona and has his full support. Thank you. Governor Bradford stepped to the podium, wished Senator Brook a healthy and happy retirement, and thanked him for his years serving Arizona in the Senate.

Then, Governor Bradford said Daniel called him last week and told me about his retirement and his choice of successor. After getting over the shock, I had my staff do an independent evaluation without my input. They confirmed what he already knew, so he will grant Senator Brook’s request and appoint Anna Bradford to serve his remaining term.

There was screaming and cheering in the Tahoe and a lot of bouncing in the passenger seats. When they calmed down, Paula said Let’s get going. There’s a lot to do when we get to the ranch. When we reached cruising altitude, Paula and Anna talked nonstop, and Chase paid attention to flying the plane. It was agreed that Anna would stay with Paula until she found a place.

When their conversation slowed, he asked Paula what she thought about Senator Calvin White. Paula said he’s a racist pig who supports white nationalists and believes a woman’s place is at home and an all-around asshole. Then Chase asked her if she knew why Calvin would sic the Secret Service on him. Paula said Oh my god, it was Calvin who directed the Secret Service to put you under surveillance. Chase told her yes, and he was debating what to do about it.

Anna said to report him to the authorities, and Paula and Chase laughed. Paula explained to Anna what he did to find out it wasn’t legal. Chase asked, suppose, for argument’s sake, he found pictures of Cavin getting his butt and balls whipped by his black mistress. Would that make his little pecker shrink, and they busted up laughing. When she recovered, Paula said that it would ruin him. Chase told them to come to Daddy if they needed a spanking, and he’d take care of their needs privately.

They were still laughing when we landed and taxied to the hangar. Chase did the post-flight check and unloaded the plane. Then Cassy ran in and tried to kiss him to death. Paula and Anna were laughing, and then Cassy saw Anna and checked her out. We carried our bags to the house, and Cassy got her treat and left. Then Paula showed Anna her bedroom, and we went to ours and unpacked. They met in the kitchen, and Paula said she was taking Anna to the capital and would return by dinner.

Chase went to the stables and said hello to Midnight, Missy, and Molly. Then he saddled Midnight and let Missy and Molly out of their stalls. He told Missy and Molly to follow us, and they rode to the first trail Paula showed me. Hank, Stephany, Rose, and Cassy were waiting when they returned. Chase put them in the corral, and Hank asked how he got Missy and Molly to follow me untethered. Chase told Hank he asked them to, and Hank, Stephany, and Rose laughed.

After caring for the horses, Chase returned to the house, showered, dressed, and went to the study. He picked the Art of War by Sun Tzu from Paula’s bookshelf, sat in the den, and read. Before Chase knew it, he was done and shocked at how fast he read it. His reading speed was fast before, but now he must be careful so no one sees. He put the book back, and Beth arrived to cook dinner.

Paula arrived alone and said Anna and David had much to discuss, so she stayed there tonight. Hank, Rose, and Cassy came in, and we ate dinner. Paula said she was leaving for DC tomorrow and would return in two weeks. Chase told her about testing out of two classes and doing the rest online. She asked how many courses he had online, and Chase told her he had six. We finished dinner and then went to the den.

Chase asked Paula about her dress, and she said she had forgotten. She said to pick it up with your tux and bring it when you come to DC. If the State Dinner is after she returns, to get it here. Then Paula asked Chase what he would do about Senator Calvin White. Chase told her he’d first send an anonymous note to the Secret Service Internal Affairs. If that doesn’t work, I’ve got several other options you don’t want to know about. But you should know the agents had audio bugs and cameras to put in my house.

We said goodnight and went to our rooms. Chase sensed the area, then went to bed and fell asleep. He received another massive burst of information as he drifted deeper into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm, and it would become clear, but Chase couldn’t understand the rest.

Chase woke up early, put on his sweats, and ran. Cassy joined me, and he used his senses to guide us in the dark. Returning to the house, he gave Cassy her treats, showered, dressed, and drank his protein shake. Then he went to the stables and gave Midnight, Missy, and Molly some love and attention. When he returned to the kitchen, Beth arrived with the newspaper. The front page was all about Senator Daniel Brook resigning and Governor David Bradford naming Anna Bradford to finish Senator Brook’s term.

Paula entered the kitchen, and Chase said he couldn’t have wished for a better way to end the rumor mill. She laughed and said he was right, and it took the attention from him and put it on Anna. Hank arrived with Rose and Cassy, and we ate breakfast. The conversation switched to the ranch and what must be done in the next few weeks. After breakfast, Chase packed his bag, and Paula and Cassy walked me to the plane.

Much to Paula’s amusement, Chase hugged and kissed both goodbye and took off for home. The flight was smooth until he got to the mountains, and he got bounced around. It smoothed out again, and he landed in Orange County at 10:30 a.m. and was home an hour later. Grandmother and Mom were glad to see me and wanted to know about my trip. Chase told them to feed him first, and they laughed and fixed lunch.

While they ate, Chase told them about listening to the news conference at the airport. Then, when we arrived, Paula took Anna to see her husband and returned at dinner time. He took the horses for a ride while she was gone, and that was it, except for dinner and breakfast. Paula is leaving today for DC, and Anna will follow her this weekend. Mom said we have a dinner date tonight at 6 pm, so stay close. It’s a business casual dress establishment.

After lunch, Robin called and said your performance bonus arrived, and she told Chase the amount. He said shit hold on to it until he can talk to his investment guy. Then Robin said the espionage/suspense movie you read for still hasn’t offered an acceptable deal. Chase told Robin to call them and say he was insulted by their offer and that he would pass on the movie. She asked Chase if he was sure, and he told her yes. They will immediately up their offer, but tell them you must wow him to change his mind. Robin laughed, said I’ll let you know how it went and hung up.

Then he called Tad, and after getting caught up in our lives, Chase asked about the best way to avoid paying taxes on his movie and modeling income. He asked how much and whistled when Chase told him. Tad said to have your Mom come in with you, and we will set up a direct deposit investment account. You’ll only be taxed on what you take out and capital gains. But it will be less than paying taxes on the full amount. We set up an appointment for tomorrow at 10 am.

Then Carol called and asked about our holiday. With the pleasantries out of the way, she asked about my schedule. Chase told her he was testing out of physical classes at USC on Monday. He does volunteer programming on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings but can cancel those if necessary. The rest of the week is free. Around the 15th, he has a State Dinner to attend at the White House, but that’s it so far. Carol laughed and asked how Chase arranged that, and he told her people seemed to like me.

She laughed again and said he has a modeling gig on Wednesday and Thursday next week. It’s for Calvin Klein, and your clothing fitting is scheduled for this Saturday at 9 am. I’m emailing you the itinerary, and a hired car will pick you up and take you home. Then Carol added she wanted to see pictures from the State Dinner and hugged up, laughing.

Mom said so much for returning to a normal schedule, and we laughed. Chase went to the study and thought about how to get an anonymous message to the Secret Service Internal Affairs. He decided to buy a burner phone, call them, and disguise his voice. A quick call would be difficult to trace and a dead end when they did. Then, Mom called him to get cleaned up for dinner.

After taking his shower and getting dressed, Chase went to the kitchen. Grandmother and Mom were waiting and said let go. We got into the Arcadia, drove around the block, and stopped at Myra’s house, and he laughed. They said everyone wanted to get together, but it was impossible until after the holidays. Myra answered the door, and we went to the patio, where Chase was attacked with hugs and kisses.

Then Grandmother and Mom sat at the patio table and talked to Tammy and Patty. Myra and Cassy pulled Chase into a bedroom and attacked him. Well, attacking his cock would be a better description. When he came, they shared, and he noticed the golden glow around them. Before he knew it, Cora, Maya, and Maria had entered and taken over. Then, Sofia and Stacy. Finally, Tammy and Patty finished, and Chase flew high on energy. But at least he could function, unlike before, and he returned to the patio.

Grandmother and Mom didn’t seem to miss him as they were busy talking to everyone. Then Myra and Cassy brought out dinner and enjoyed a barbeque chicken dinner. Chase noticed everyone had a golden hue except Grandmother and Mom. Mom told them about my horse Midnight, so he had to show them pictures. Then everyone discussed what they had done for the holidays and the party broke up at 10 pm.

There was a lot of hugging and kissing goodbye (some with tongue), and we drove home. Grandmother gave me two bottles of lotion and said we wanted the gold hue, too. Chase said he would fill their prescription in the morning, and they laughed. We said goodnight, and Chase went to his room, sensed the area, and went to bed. He fell asleep immediately and drifted into a deep sleep.

Then, he received another massive burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm. Then, Chase was given a history lesson on their galaxy and planet. He couldn’t understand the names or some of the details, but it was like an audiobook, and she narrated it.

Emperors and the Elites ruled their galaxy for thousands of years. When the Emperor died, his first male son would take over. The Elites were relatives of the Emperor and ran the industries, businesses, and Military. Everyone was required to serve in the Military when they reached prime age. Three hundred years ago, the Emperor’s son chose to serve on an exploration ship.

The ship was lost and never returned, and war broke out between the Elites to control the galaxy when the Emperor died. One family won the war and appointed a new Emperor, and he ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. The Elites were hunted down and killed, and an order was given to test everyone before entering the galaxy. A reward was offered to anyone who captured a direct descendant of the former Emperor, and the lesson ended.

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. After working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour, he returned to his room feeling energized and pumped. After his shower, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, and greeted Grandmother. They ate breakfast, and he drank his protein shake. Mom arrived, and we went to Evans Investments.

Tad welcomed us and asked if Grandmother was my Mom, causing them to laugh. He was shocked when he found out she was my Grandmother. We set up the investment account, then called Robin and gave her the deposit information. When we were finished, Tad said our investment program made record profits for his investment group. Then he gave Chase a project and said no hurry, take your time, and we said goodbye and headed home.

Chase had Mom stop at a truck stop on the way home. He went inside and bought a baseball cap, a bottle of water, and a burner phone. Upon our arrival home, Grandmother and Mom fixed lunch while he went upstairs, changed clothes, and prepared their lotion bottles. Returning to the kitchen with the lotion, they giggled, grabbed the bottles, and took them to their rooms.

When they returned, we ate lunch, and then he went to the study and researched the Secret Service departments. They had a “Tip Line” to report crimes confidentially, so he called it using my new burner phone. Disguising his voice, Chase reported that US Senator Calvin White hired the two agents arrested in Newport Beach for illegal surveillance. He told them to check the agents’ phones, texts, and emails to confirm, and their supervisor was in on it, too. He hung up, turned off the phone, put it in the desk drawer, and laughed.

Then Chase went outside and shot hoops for an hour, and then Mom called him inside. She said a sedan was parked at the end of the street with a man inside. He looked out the front window, and she was right. Chase went upstairs, showered, dressed, and went to the garage. He got onto his e-bike, rode past the sedan, and flipped him the bird. The man had to turn around, so he had a good head start. Then Chase turned into an alley and hid his e-bike beside a garage.

When the man pulled into the alley, he picked up a trash can and threw it at his windshield. The windshield shattered, causing him to crash into a tree. He was knocked out, so Chase pulled him out of the car and checked his wallet. It was Alan Berk, Supervising Agent of the Secret Service. I’d had enough of this asshole, so he kicked him hard in the balls three times, took his phone and wallet, and rode home.

Grandmother and Mom asked what happened, and Chase told them he had a boo-boo, and they laughed. Then Chase told them it was Alan Berk, Supervising Agent of the Secret Service. Then he pulled out Alan Berk’s phone and texted Senator Calvin White. He wrote I’m coming to kick your ass for setting my agents and me up. See you soon. “Butt Wipe,” and sent the text, showed Grandmother and Mom the message, and then turned off the phone. We laughed, and then they started dinner.

Chase went to the den, opened his email, and read Robin’s itinerary. The driver was to pick him up tomorrow at 6:45 a.m., and measurements and fitting should take a few hours. He said to himself yeah, fat chance it would be all day and returned to the kitchen. Dinner was ready, so we sat and ate, and Grandmother asked what he thought Senator White would do. Chase told them he would panic and try to call Agent Berk. Unfortunately, I have his phone, and he can’t answer or call Senator White back.

We laughed and went to the den and watched the news. The newscaster said we had an unusual accident in Newport Beach and were going to our field reporter, Amy Collins. Amy, what do you have for us? Amy said thank you, Barb. Authorities reported a single-car accident in an alleyway. The unusual thing is that the driver’s injuries don’t match the damaged vehicle. Paramedics reported the driver suffered a severe concussion, but damage to his private parts can not be explained.

Mom turned off the news, and we busted up laughing. Grandmother said the Secret Service should have fun investigating this, and we laughed again. Chase told them goodnight and headed to his bedroom. After sensing the area, Chase went to bed and immediately fell asleep. Then, he received another massive burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm.

Chase awoke at 4 a.m. dressed in sweats and ran around our subdivision, sensing every house, and then returned home. After showering, he dressed, went to the kitchen, ate breakfast with Grandmother, and drank his protein shake. After breakfast, Chase said goodbye to Grandmother and met his driver at the gate. The drive to the LA Garment District took an hour, and we stopped at a warehouse. Bob, my driver, said good luck and took off.

When Chase entered, a beautiful blond woman said, hello, I’m Tiana, and you must be Chase and shook his hand. He said yes, unfortunately, and she laughed and said it was not that bad. Chase asked Tiana if her bonuses were based on her lying skills because she was really good. Tiana laughed and said follow me, and we went into a large room with over a hundred clothes on racks. There was a changing area in the corner, and Tiana said ladies, this is Chase, and he’s experienced.

Chase was directed to the changing area and told to undress to his underwear and wear the robe provided. When he returned, the fun began, and he was measured from his head to his toes. Tiana and the ladies gathered when they finished and discussed their options. It was decided to alter what they could and custom-make the rest. Chase looked at Tiana and said it was not that bad, and she broke up laughing.

We finished at 4 pm, and Bob drove me home. He said I’d be your driver for the fashion shoot next week and gave me his business card. Bob dropped me off, said see you next week and took off. Grandmother and Mom were cooking dinner when Chase arrived, and they wanted to know what had happened. He laughed and said the same thing happened at the movie wardrobe fitting. He played a Ken doll, and they fitted him with clothes. Nothing fit right, so everything had to be altered, and some clothes had to be made from scratch.

While we ate dinner, Grandmother asked what clothes you were trying on. Chase said it seemed like everything in their clothing line, from athletic gear to casual clothes and business casual to suits. Mom said they make swimwear and underwear, too. Chase told them his perv meter sounded the alarm, and they laughed. Then he said it’s wintertime, so he has no idea what they will use on the shoot. But all the clothes will be altered to fit him so he may get them after it’s done. They liked the idea of getting free clothes.

After dinner, Paula called and asked what he had done. Chase said he was innocent, judge, they were framing him, and everyone laughed. Paula said the Secret Service pulled Senator Calvin White out of a committee meeting for questioning. When he returned, Calvin looked sick and didn’t say anything for the rest of the meeting. Then Mom told Paula he had his fitting today for next week’s Calvin Klein shoot. Paula asked what type of clothes Chase was modeling, and Mom said he wouldn’t tell us. He said you’re a bunch of pervs and they laughed. Paula said she would keep us updated and said goodbye.

Chase said goodnight, went to his room, sensed the area, and went to bed. Then, he received another massive burst of information as I drifted into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm. When the download finished, his vision started, and he was in Senator Calvin White’s office. Two men sat across the desk from the Senator, and one said you betrayed the cause, Calvin.

The other man said we warned you not to go after the associate of Senator Davis. We warned you he was too high profile and would bring trouble to our cause. But you wouldn’t listen and used our group in the Secret Service. It took us years to groom and train those agents, and you destroyed it. One man got up, poured a drink, and then stood behind Calvin, pulled out a syringe, and injected him behind the ear. They told Calvin it was too bad you can’t follow orders, and his vision ended.

Chapter 2

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. After working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour, he returned to his room feeling energized and pumped. After his shower, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, and greeted Grandmother. We ate breakfast, and he drank his protein shake. Then Mom entered the kitchen and said let’s get you moved back into your campus dorm room this morning. You’ve got a lot going on next week, so let’s get you settled in.

So they helped load the Tahoe, and we drove to USC. Chase was thankful for their help because the dorm was a dirty, dusty mess in his absence. We took the linens home to wash and ran into Kat leaving. She said the movie star and hero returns with his sisters to protect him. Chase told her yes, and they wanted to protect me from the randy college girls. Then he made the instructions and said Mom, Grandmother, this is Kat, Chancellor Lake’s daughter. She’ll purr like a kitten if you find the right spot to scratch, and everyone laughed.

Kat said she couldn’t believe you were Chase’s Mom and Grandmother. You look so young, and they smiled and thanked her for the compliment. Then Kat asked if he attended full-time this semester, and he said no. The administration thought it wouldn’t be a good idea, so I’m part-time. Chase told Kat to say hello to her dad for me, and we said goodbye and left for home. Mom said Kat seemed like a nice girl. Chase said yes if he could get past the mother-father-dog thing, and Mom said she had forgotten about that, and they laughed.

When we got home, Grandmother and Mom made a late lunch. While eating, Paula called and said Senator Calvin White died in his office last night. Chase told her he had an alibi and witnesses who would swear he was here all night, and Paula laughed. She said the cleaning crew discovered his body and reported seeing two men leaving the building. The police are reviewing the security camera footage and are treating it as a homicide. So our office building will be like Fort Knox until the investigation is complete. She wished me good luck at school, and we said goodbye.

Grandmother said those Secret Service Agents are screwed now. Their bargaining chip died, and they will have to take responsibility alone. Chase told her it served them right and hoped they would get plenty of jail time. After lunch, he went to the study and reviewed the courses he was testing out for tomorrow. Then Chase went upstairs, changed clothes, and shot hoops until Mom called me inside.

During dinner, Chase told them he should finish taking his tests before lunch tomorrow. Then he was going to Beverly Hills and would pick up his tux and Paula’s dress. So, hopefully, I’ll miss rush hour and get home early in the afternoon. Mom said they were going to the gym in the morning and then to the community center afterward, so we should be home around the same time.

After dinner, we watched the news, said goodnight, and went to our rooms. Chase practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell immediately asleep. Then, he received another burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm.

Chase awoke at 4 a.m. dressed in sweats and ran around our subdivision, sensing every house, and then returned home. After showering, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, drank his protein shake, and took off for USC. Traffic wasn’t bad, and he arrived at 7:30 am and went to the canteen for breakfast. Chase was glad he wore his baseball cap and sunglasses because there was an article about him in the campus newspaper.

After breakfast, he went to the testing center in the administration building. His monitor showed up 10 minutes later, and his testing started at 8:30. Chase finished both tests by 11 am and intentionally slowed himself down but still shocked the monitor. Then he rushed to the Tahoe, drove to Beverly Hills, and stopped at Anthony’s for his tux. Tony welcomed Chase, and then he tried on the tux. They agreed it looked great, and he thanked him and left.

The next stop was the dress shop, and they didn’t want to give Paula’s dress to him. Chase called Paula, but she didn’t answer, so he left a message. Chase told her he was at Ashley’s Fashions, and the stuck-up bitch salesperson won’t give him your dress. Please call them when you’re free, and they can ship your dress to Washington, DC. There was laughing in the background, and then a lady entered from the back room and asked what the problem was.

He said he was Chase Reynolds, and Senator Paula Davis asked him to pick up her dress. Your rude, stuck-up bitch of a salesperson refused to give it to me. But no worries. In my next interview, I’ll tell everyone what a delight shopping here was. Chase turned to leave, and she yelled wait and asked the salesgirl to get the dress. The salesgirl returned with the dress looking pissed off. Chase thanked her, took the dress, and told her not to worry. We’ll never visit this establishment again and left.

On the way home, Paula called and asked if he got her dress. He said, yes, piece of cake. She laughed and said Ashley had called and told me the salesperson had made a mistake. Then Ashley begged me to return to her store so they could apologize properly. Chase laughed and told Paula it was good to know that proper ass-kissing had taken place. Paula laughed and asked about his tux, and he told her it fit perfectly. Tony said hello and asked you to stop by when you’re in town.

Then Paula said the State Dinner is Wednesday, January 17th. She said I would call you over the weekend to discuss the plans, and we said goodbye. It was almost 5 pm when he arrived home, and Grandmother and Mom were waiting. They inspected my tux and Paul’s dress and said they were excellent choices. He took the tux and dress to his room and returned to the kitchen, where they made dinner.

While we ate, Chase told them the State Dinner was Wednesday, January 17th, and Paula would call this weekend with the details. They asked about his testing, and he told them it was good. There were no surprises, so I’m sure I passed, and they laughed. Then, they asked what he would do about my programming work for the next two weeks. Chase told them he’d meet with Professor Kimura tomorrow and let her know his schedule. It won’t be a problem for her if he misses a few days here and there. If something important comes up, he could do it remotely.

After dinner, we watched the news and had a segment on Senator Calvin White’s death. Police reported that a needle mark was found behind Senator White’s right ear during his autopsy. They posted pictures of the two men seen leaving the Senator’s office. Both had criminal records for assault, attempted murder, and hate crimes and were members of a white supremacy group. The Secret Service joined the investigation along with the FBI and Homeland Security.

We were laughing as Mom turned off the news, and Grandmother said if those three agents were involved with white supremacists, they wouldn’t last in jail long. We said goodnight and went to our bedrooms. Chase sensed the area, went to bed, fell asleep, and received another burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep. A heavily accented female voice told him to remain calm.

Then, the audiobook history lesson continued, and the explorer group never stopped looking for descendants of the former Emperor. They were encouraged by the current Emperor to continue looking. So, every inhabitable planet an explorer ship passed was passively scanned. Earth has been scanned several times, but with the Emperor’s focus on the Military, the explorer fleet has diminished to a dozen ships. The last time Earth was scanned was 20 years ago.

This time, we found you and brought you onboard our ship for the most advanced updates. You’ve been given a blocker, so if a military ship passes Earth, it won’t pick up your signature. Now, only our group can identify you, and we’ll keep in contact with bursts of information. Should we be in the galaxy, you’ll be brought onboard for a check-up, and my audiobook history lesson ended.

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. After working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour, he returned to his room feeling energized and pumped. After his shower, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, drank his protein shake, and took off for USC. The traffic was the usual, and he arrived at 7:30 am. Chase first went to his dorm room and prepared a bottle of nighttime lotion for Professor Kimura. Then he went to the canteen for breakfast and then went to the Nanotechnology lab.

Professor Ren Kimura was in her office, so Chase stuck his head inside and asked if she had missed me. Ren screamed, jumped up, shut the door, and hugged me. Then, my pants were down quickly, and Ren wouldn’t be denied her treat. He held her head when he came as the energy surged through him. Chase looked down when he recovered, and Ren had a gold glow around her while he helped her get up.

We sat at her desk, and Chase gave her a bottle of nighttime lotion. Ren said she had just run out and thanked me. Then, we talked about her programming needs this semester. She told me the investors and the USC administration are still negotiating to continue the project. The holidays stopped the talks, but they will resume them soon. He told her that was great because he wouldn’t be available until the week after next. Chase said he had a modeling assignment this week and must fly to Washington, DC, for a State Dinner next week.

Ren laughed and said are you sure you can work me into your high society schedule? We laughed, and Chase told her he’d be on the same schedule as last year. But if you need something done, he can do it remotely and send it to you. He may be busy sometimes, but he’ll try to schedule around our Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Ren was happy and asked how he was going to attend classes. Chase told her he wasn’t and would take them online again.

We hugged and kissed goodbye, and Chase returned to his dorm, gathered his things, and headed home. Grandmother and Mom were surprised to see me and wanted to know what had happened. He told them the Nanotechnology project is on hold until an agreement is reached between USC and the investors. Professor Kimura said it should take two weeks to finalize the deal.

Grandmother and Mom made lunch, and while we ate, Robin called and said they had improved their offer, but it was a percentage of the net. Chase asked Robin who she was dealing with, and she said George Zane, the producer. He told her to call him and conference me on the call. Robin called George Zane, and he answered and asked Robin if we had a deal.

He said George Zane, this is Chase Reynolds, and there’s no deal. You tried to screw me, and I take that personally. Take your offer and shove it up your ass. Is that clear enough for you, or must I drop by and hammer it home? If you want me to do the movie, the price just doubled. Half up front and half at completion. Take it or leave. I don’t give a shit, and he hung up.

Robin called back and said you just killed the deal. Chase told Robin he needed a new agent who knew what they were doing. No movie makes money at the end. Everything is written off, so the net is negative for taxes. Chase said he’d give her 30 days to get him some work, or he would set up a meeting with someone who could, and he hung up. Chase told Grandmother and Mom he was going for a hike and left.

Climbing the hill, he thought about the deal and determined Robin couldn’t be that stupid. Something else was happening, and he needed to find out what it was soon. Chase reached his rock, stripped, sat on the rock, and meditated. When he reached his plane, he went deeper and felt the tension leave his body.

Then his vision started, and Robin was on the phone with Allen Rich, the movie director. She said I tried to sell him on the deal but failed. Not only that, but he put me on notice to produce, or he’d fire me. Allen said settle down, Robin. We’ll work this out. Robin said no, I’m done and out. The deal is toast, and now I will try to save my agent license and job, and my vision ends.

Chase exited his meditative state, dressed, and returned to the house. Grandmother asked if he felt better, and he told her yes. Then, he picked up the phone and called WME. Chase asked who he would talk to if he had a problem with his agent. The receptionist said you need to speak with the managing partner. Hold on, and I’ll transfer you to John Russell. When he answered, Chase told him who he was and his agent’s name.

Then Chase told John what had happened since he signed on and what he paid Robin in commissions. Then Chase told him about the current movie deal and how Robin wanted me to take most of my pay off the movie net. John laughed and said you’re kidding me, right? Chase said no, I’m serious. The movie director is Allen Rich, the producer is George Zane, and John said shit. John got my contact information, said I’ll call you tomorrow afternoon, and said goodbye.

Grandmother and Mom wanted to know what was going on with Robin. Chase told them on his hike that he thought about Robin’s performance in this movie deal and that something wasn’t right. The more he thought about it, the more convinced he became that she worked for the producer/director instead of him. He’d let John Russell sort it out, but he won’t work with Robin again, that’s for sure.

Grandmother said shit, that bitch fooled us all, and Chase agreed. They started dinner, and he went upstairs, showered, changed clothes, and returned to the kitchen. We sat and ate dinner, and Mom asked what he thought would happen to Robin. Chase said he really doesn’t give a shit at this point. What he cares about is the 200k he paid in commissions, and he got one read on a movie that won’t pay shit. Also, what happened to all the leads from the premiere, interviews, and shooting?

Grandmother asked if he thought she was slow walking everything so he would sign the movie deal. Chase said yes, now he does, but he wasn’t concerned about it then because he had other things occupying his time. But every time we talked, it was about the same movie, nothing new. And when John Russell heard the names of those who were involved in the film, he said shit. Tomorrow should be an interesting day.

We watched the news after dinner, and they reported the man in the freak one-car accident was a Secret Service agent. Alan Berk, Supervising Agent of the Secret Service, was suspended and off duty when the car crash occurred. He is currently in the ICU after the removal of his testicles and penectomy and is still in a coma from the car accident.

We were laughing when Paula called, and Mom turned off the TV. Chase said, before you can ask, he had nothing to do with the removal of Agent Berk’s penis and balls. That was the doctor’s, but he has suggestions for his name change. How about Alania or Alexis? Paula laughed hard with everyone, and when she recovered, Paula said it was on the news here because he was a Secret Service Agent. Then Paula said she had another call and said goodbye.

We said goodnight, and Chase stopped by the study and checked his itinerary for tomorrow. My driver would pick me up at 6 am, which would be a long day. He went upstairs, sensed the area, went to bed, fell asleep, and received another burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chase awoke at 4 a.m. dressed in sweats and ran around our subdivision, sensing every house, and then returned home. After showering, he dressed, went to the kitchen, drank his protein shake, and ate breakfast with Grandmother. Bob, his driver, showed up on time, and we took off for the fashion shoot. It was at a house on the beach in Malibu, and we arrived before 7:30 am. Bob dropped me off, and Chase knocked on the door.

A young woman answered the door and said you must be Chase Reynolds. I’m Jessie Banks, your coordinator from CK. Come inside and meet the photographer/director of the shoot. He’s going love you, and we went into the living room, and Jessie said Lance, meet Chase, our model today. Lance’s eyes got big, and he walked around me, almost dancing, and said Jessie, you’ve got a hot one. Calvin’s going to have a stroke when he sees the photos. Get Chase to makeup and wardrobe immediately.

Jessie laughed and directed me to the garage they converted into a dressing room, and the fun began. He undressed, put on a robe, and got his hair done. Then, face makeup was applied, my body was coated with light oil, and Chase modeled underwear first. Then swimsuits by the pool. We broke for lunch, and he modeled workout gear in the home gym to end the day. Lance danced off, saying he was sending the photos to New York immediately. Jessie laughed and told me to ignore Lance when he got excited. He’s one of our best photographers and will make you look great.

Chase got a hug goodbye, and Bob was waiting out front for him. The drive was fun with rush hour traffic, and he got home at 7 pm. Bob said see you tomorrow morning at the same time and took off. Chase started the slow walk to the inquisition that was waiting inside. He was saved by a phone call when he entered the kitchen, and it was John Russell. We sat at the kitchen table, and Chase put the call on speakerphone.

John said Robin was fired today for breach of fiduciary duty. She took the customer’s interest ahead of yours. You have legal recourse against Robin and us if you choose that path. Chase told John he was not interested in pursuing legal action. However, he was concerned about the commissions he paid and getting someone to represent me properly. Chase could hear the relief in his voice, and John said that was great to hear. Give me a few days to review Robin’s files, and we’ll meet. Don’t worry about the commissions. They will be refunded to you. John said he would call me back on Monday, and we said goodbye.

Mom pulled my dinner out of the oven and said tell us about your day. Chase told them he arrived at the shoot location at 7:30 am. It was in Malibu, and he modeled clothes until around 5:30 pm and came home. They laughed and said they wanted details, and he laughed. Chase told them we started with underwear, went to swimsuits, and broke for lunch. The afternoon was workout gear and activewear. And before you ask, he didn’t see the photos, so he doesn’t know what they look like. Jessie, my representative on the shoot for CK, said all the pictures would be sent to New York for evaluation and ad selection.

Chase finished dinner and told them to cheer up. The photographer, Lance, said Calvin Klein would have a stroke when he saw the photos. Today’s shoot was sent to New York when we finished the day. So you maybe able to perv over my pictures sooner than expected when the ads are released. They laughed, and we said goodnight, and he went to my bedroom. Chase practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another massive burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep. It almost woke him up, but it stopped before he was awake.

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. After working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour, he returned to his room feeling energized and pumped. After his shower, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, and was surprised to see Grandmother. We ate breakfast, and he drank his protein shake. Then he hugged Grandmother goodbye and met Bob at the gate.

We encountered the usual rush hour traffic but arrived on time. Bob dropped me off, and Jessie met me at the door excitedly. She said Calvin loved the photos, so don’t be surprised if you’re offered an exclusive contract. Chase asked about his contract with Ford Modeling, and Jessie said not to worry. We do it all the time. We know what happened with you and the Ford Modeling development team. Calvin said they weren’t aggressively marketing your services, so he feels they will be receptive.

After makeup, Chase started the day modeling casual clothes in front of a digital backdrop. From there, they changed to business casual, and we broke for lunch. After lunch, it was suits both business and dress. Everyone was happy when he left at 4 pm, and Chase got a call from John Russell on the drive home. He said Ford Modeling called and notified us they came to an agreement with Calvin Klein for your exclusive services. That makes their contract void, and Calvin Klein has offered you a new contract. It’s all pending your approval, and I’ve emailed Calvin Klein’s offer to you. John said he had reviewed it, and it was an excellent offer, but he asked Chase to review it and call him in the morning, and we said goodbye.

He arrived home at 5:30 pm and thanked Bob for his help. Then Chase entered the kitchen, and Grandmother and Mom were preparing dinner. He told them he’d been sold, sat at the table, and put his head in my hands. Mom asked what he was talking about, and Chase said Ford Modeling sold his services to Calvin Klein. He said he felt so used, then laughed, and they called me an asshole for scaring them and then laughed too.

Chase got his laptop from his room, returned to the kitchen, and opened his email. He read the contract offer, which was better than the Ford one. Besides, he got better pay and free clothes at any CK store, including my family and immediate friends. While we ate, Grandmother said let me look at the contract and took his laptop. When she finished reading it, Chase was told to sign it. After Mom read it, he realized sleeping in the house wouldn’t be safe if he turned it down.

Chase reluctantly agreed to sign it and accused them of using me to get free clothes, and everyone laughed. After dinner, we watched the news, said good night, and went to our bedrooms. He sensed the area, went to bed, fell asleep, and received another burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep.

He awoke at 4 a.m. dressed in sweats and ran around our subdivision, sensing every house, and then returned home. After showering, Chase dressed, went to the kitchen, drank his protein shake, and ate breakfast with Grandmother. Then the gate buzzer rang, and we had a delivery. There were three large boxes, and he carried them into the house. Mom opened the first one, which was my clothes from the CK shoot. Of course, they had to see everything and separate it for laundry and dry cleaning.

Then Chase called John Randell and told him the contract was good. He agreed to meet at his office and sign the paperwork at 1 pm today, and we hung up. Grandmother and Mom left to drop off my dry cleaning, and Chase needed to do his online coursework, so he went to the study. When Mom told him it was time to go, Chase was in a zone. He saved his work, and we took off for WME offices in Beverly Hills.

We arrived at 12:50 pm and were immediately ushered into John Randell’s office. Introductions were made, and John was shocked at how young Grandmother and Mom looked. The notary double-checked Mom’s driver’s license and signature before stamping the documents. The notary said I’m 34, and you look younger than me and left shaking her head. John said he would manage your account in the interim. Four assistants are reviewing Robin’s files and making calls on the leads that weren’t followed up.

Chase told John that was fine. He’s in no hurry and will be out of town next week, attending a State Dinner at the White House, so take your time. John said, thanks for the heads up because the press heavily covers those. He asked what day, and Chase told him Wednesday night. Then John told me to expect Calvin Klein to request he visit their New York offices. They will want to make a formal announcement, and I would do it before your State Dinner if possible. It will save you two long trips back east.

We thanked him for his help and left for home. No sooner than we arrived home, Jessie Banks, my coordinator from CK, called and welcomed me to Calvin Klein. She asked about my schedule, and Chase told her he was busy next week. On Tuesday, he flies to Washington, DC, for a State Dinner on Wednesday night. Then, he flies to Arizona on Thursday and returns home Sunday morning. Jessie said let’s do this and make use of your trip. Let’s fly you to New York on Monday and meet on Tuesday morning at our offices. Then, you can take a short flight to DC in the afternoon, and we can get the meeting out of the way.

Chase looked at Grandmother and Mom, and they agreed, so he said ok. Jessie said she would make arrangements and call me on Saturday. Before we hung up, Jessie said the digital ads are being released this weekend, so expect attention and laughed, ending the call.

He groaned, and Grandmother and Mom laughed and said digital billboards are everywhere now, even in airports. He said shit, and they said it would take a few days for people to notice, so relax. They wandered off, so Chase returned to the study and finished his coursework for the week. Mom called him to dinner, and while they ate, Chase told them he would be gone all next week. Grandmother said we know, but it’s good to get done in one trip.

After dinner, we watched the news, and they caught the two men seen leaving Senator Calvin White’s office and holding them without bail. They resisted arrest and shot at the officers trying to arrest them. There were also several outstanding warrants, so bail was denied. When the news ended, we said goodnight and went to our bedrooms. Chase practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another massive burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Then Mom entered and said let’s go ice skating one more time before the ads hit. Then, stop by the dry cleaners on the way home.

So that’s what we did, and we arrived at the ice park when it opened. We enjoyed an hour and a half of skating before it got crowded. There was now an attendant watching the skaters and correcting rule breakers. Grandmother said it was good they finally got their shit together. We saw my first CK ad when we got to the Arcadia to go home. It was on a digital billboard outside the ice park. Chase said shit, and Mom said, those are cute underwear and they laughed.

Luckily, the dry cleaners had a drive-thru, so he didn’t have to get out, and we made it home undisturbed. We were eating lunch when Paula called, laughing and saying he had almost caused Anna to wreck her new SUV. Chase said that’s impossible. I’ve been in Newport Beach all day and have witnesses. Paula said you know what I mean! Your CK ad was on a digital billboard on the highway. We were going to lunch when you popped up in underwear, causing everyone to laugh.

Then we talked about his trip, and Chase told her he was flying to New York on Monday. CK wanted him to visit their headquarters on Tuesday morning. Then he can fly to DC in the afternoon, and Paula said that works out fine. Chase asked about the trip home, and Paula said he would fly commercially back from Phoenix on Sunday. Paula said the State Dinners are usually boring affairs. This one should be entertaining with you attending, that’s for sure laughing, and we said goodbye.

Then Jessie called and said she emailed me my itinerary. Then she asked if we’d seen the digital ads. Chase said yes and asked why they didn’t airbrush my package. Jessie laughed and said we did. You should see the original photos. He groaned, and everyone laughed. She said we had to airbrush them to get past the censors here. But the European ads went out without alterations because they’re not as strict. On the bright side, everybody loves them, and our phones are ringing off the hook.

Then Jessie asked me to wear CK clothing as much as possible and remember to bring a CK suit for our meeting. She said we’d give you a CK credit card on Tuesday so you can visit any CK store and get anything your family or close friends need. Also, I recommend wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses for your Monday flight. Then she laughed, saying goodbye.

Mom asked Grandmother who we knew in Europe, and they laughed, going to the kitchen to start dinner. Chase entered the kitchen and said be nice to the one who is getting you free clothes. They giggled and said we are and set dinner on the table. Mom asked what he was doing tomorrow while we ate, and Chase said to hang around here and relax. I’ll probably do my coursework for my online classes and get it out of the way. So you’ll have to delay your experimental trips to the Mall or store until next week, and they laughed.

After dinner, we watched the news, and his digital billboard ads made the news. The newscaster said the California Highway Patrol reported slow traffic around digital billboards displaying Calvin Klein’s new ad. We sent our field reporter, Amy Collins, to see the issue. Amy, what do you have for us? Amy said thank you, Barb. We are here on the 105 freeway, and the digital billboard behind me displays CK’s new ad. It’s a male underwear ad that is creating slow traffic, and after seeing the ad, I can understand why. It’s hot, for lack of a better term. Back to you in the studio, Barb and Mom turned off the TV.

Grandmother and Mom were laughing, and Mom said, maybe the trip I planned to the Mall tomorrow was a bad idea. Chase said goodnight and went to his bedroom, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another massive burst of information as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chapter 3

Chase awoke at 4 a.m. dressed in sweats and ran around our subdivision, sensing every house, and then returned home. After showering, he dressed, went to the kitchen, drank his protein shake, and ate breakfast with Grandmother. After breakfast, Chase went to the study and did his weekly online coursework. Then, he worked on a program idea he had for his phone. Chase laughingly called it “Garble” because that’s what it did. It sounded like garble when he made a call through the program. If the cellphone receiving the call had the program, the call would be decoded and clear.

Mom called Chase to lunch, so he saved his work and went to the kitchen. While we ate, Mom said they were going to the market after lunch. Chase told them he would go hiking and see them when they got home. They left, and Chase hiked to his favorite spot on the hill, stripped, sat on the rock, and meditated. When he reached his plane, Chase went deeper and felt the tension leave his body. Then, he gathered the energy surrounding him and exited his meditative state. When Chase returned to the house, he changed clothes and played basketball outside.

Grandmother and Mom arrived home before he started, so Chase helped unload the groceries. Then he shot hoops until Mom called him inside to get cleaned up. After his shower, we ate dinner, and they wanted to know my schedule for tomorrow. He told them he would leave for the airport around 9 am, and his flight leaves at 11:40 am. Chase said he should arrive and be settled in his suite by 7:30 pm your time.

After dinner, we watched the news, and thankfully, there wasn’t anything about his ads. When the news ended, Chase said goodnight and went to my bedroom. He practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, Chase received another burst of information, more like instructions, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Waking up early, Chase dressed in sweats and went to the gym. After working out on the heavy bag and weights for an hour, he returned to his room feeling energized and pumped. After his shower, Chase dressed, packed, went to the kitchen, and greeted Grandmother. We ate breakfast, and he drank his protein shake. We talked until it was time to leave. Chase hugged her goodbye and took off for the airport.

Traffic wasn’t bad, and he arrived just before 10 am. Chase checked his bags, got through security without problems, and had over an hour to kill. He visited the restroom and then the newsstand to get some snacks and something to read. Then, he went to the gate and read minds while pretending to read the paper. One man was on his way home after negotiating a deal for his company, IMG, to buy UUA pharmaceuticals. All that was needed was for his company to sign the contract, and it was done. Chase walked away from the gate, called Tad, and told him what he had heard. Tad laughed and thanked him for the tip.

When Chase returned, they were boarding first class, so he grabbed his gear, boarded the plane, and got settled. Kelly was his flight attendant and brought him a bottle of water before the flight. We finally pulled away from the gate and took off, and Chase was glad no one recognized him. He took out his laptop and worked on his program until lunch. Then, Chase resumed programming and finished it before we landed. He thanked Kelly for the excellent service and went to baggage claim.

My driver held a sign with C. Reynolds, so he waved at him, and we collected my bags. Dave, my driver, dropped me off at the Plaza Hotel, said I’ll pick you up at 8 am tomorrow, and took off. When Chase settled in his suite, he called home and told them he had arrived. Grandmother asked if I had trouble, and he told her no one recognized me. Chase told them he would call tomorrow night when he arrived in Washington, DC, and said goodnight. After sensing the area, Chase went to bed and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, more like instructions, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chase woke up and looked at the clock, and it was 4 a.m. He got up, put on his sweats, went to the hotel gym, and worked out for an hour. Returning to his suite, Chase showered, dressed, packed, and drank his protein shake. Then he went to the hotel restaurant, ate breakfast, went to the lobby, and waited for his ride. Dave arrived on time, and we went to Calvin Klein headquarters. When Dave dropped him off, he said he would pick me up when I was done and take me to the airport. Chase took his bags inside because he wouldn’t take the chance of losing his tux or Paula’s dress.

Jessie welcomed him, and she put his bags in her office. Then, she gave me a tour and showed him the photos they selected for the print ads. Chase asked for copies so my Grandmother and Mom could see them. She laughed, said she could do better than that, and gave him a CK shoulder bag with promo photos inside, including Sharpies for autographs. Jessie said we would send more to your house this week. She asked him to have them available when he visited one of their stores. Then she handed me a cardboard tube, said there’s some poster too, and laughed.

Walking back to her office, she said more posters would arrive with promo photos. Please hand them out because it’s great advertising for us. We dropped off my goodies and went to a large room with the press inside. Jessie directed Chase to the podium, and then Calvin Klein entered and shook my hand. Lights were flashing, and my signing announcement was made. Chase gave a short speech and answered questions for a few minutes. Thankfully, Mr. Klein ended it, and we went to a conference room where they had refreshments.

Mr. Kline welcomed me to CK, shook my hand, and left. Jessie said that’s how Mr. Klein is, so don’t let it bother you. Chase said he wished he could escape like that, and we laughed. After the reception, Jessie gave him a folder with my CK credit card inside. She requested that I visit as many of their stores as possible. It’s good for company morale and generates business for the store.

We said goodbye, and he gathered his bags and goodies and met Dave outside. The drive to the airport took 45 minutes, and Chase had just made his flight. We landed in DC an hour later, and he went to baggage claim. He was surprised to see Paula waiting, so Chase gathered his bags, and we took off for her townhouse. We passed one of my billboards, and he said good thing you drove, and we laughed.

Chase unpacked and gave her the dress when they arrived at her townhouse. She took it to her room, tried it on, and met me in the kitchen. He had the promo photos out and asked which one she wanted. Paula said oh my god while looking at them. Chase told her he had some posters if they weren’t big enough, and she laughed. Paula called in a to-go order at an Italian restaurant and left to pick it up.

Chase called home and told them he had arrived and had a surprise for them when he got home. They bugged him, trying to find out what it was, but he wouldn’t tell them. Finally, Chase said Paula had dinner ready so that he would call them tomorrow, said goodnight, and hung up laughing. Paula arrived and asked what was so funny, and he told her about Grandmother and Mom’s surprise. She laughed when Chase told her he wouldn’t give them a clue.

We ate dinner, and then Paula said we would go to her office first tomorrow and asked me to bring the promo photos laughing. Then we’ll go to the Senate, return to her office, and go home. She said we’d have plenty of time to prepare for the 7 pm dinner. Then we said goodnight and went to our bedrooms. Chase sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, and it was instructions of some type as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chase woke up in the middle of the night, and Paula was giving him a blow job. When he came, Chase felt a huge energy rush and passed out. Then he felt Paula riding him, but I didn’t fully wake up, and when he came again, he was in dreamland again.

Waking up early, Chase checked, and Paula was gone. So he put on his sweats and ran through the neighborhood, using his senses to guide him. Returning to the townhouse, Chase showered, dressed, drank his protein shake, and went to the kitchen. Paula entered, saw my clothes, and asked if they were new. Chase said they were complements of CK, and he got free clothes with his family and close friends. They even gave me a credit card to use while visiting their stores.

Paula said I’m your close friend, and we’ll have to visit their store in Phoenix when we get there laughing. Chase grabbed his shoulder bag, and we took off for her office. We stopped at a café in her office building for breakfast, then went to her office. He spent the next 30 minutes signing promo photos for Paula’s office staff while she watched, smiling.

When he was finished, we went to the Senate, and Chase watched from the cheap seats while Paula did her thing. A female aide asked for an autograph, so he pulled out a promo photo and signed it. She almost floated away, giggling. After Paula’s committee meeting, we went to lunch at the senate cafeteria and saw Anna. She was talking to two senators, so we got a table by ourselves and ate lunch. When we finished lunch, Paula and Chase walked into Anna’s view, and he waved, and then they left laughing.

We were in Paula’s office when Anna asked why you didn’t tell me Chase was coming to DC. Chase said it was his fault. He didn’t want you to crash your SUV, and everyone laughed. Chase said he was in New York at CK Headquarters and took a short flight to see you. Anna said I have a dinner meeting tonight I can’t miss, but you’ll be on the flight back to Arizona with us tomorrow. He told her he would, and she hugged him goodbye and left. Paula said Anna was going to be pissed when she heard about the State Dinner. Chase said we’d tell her we were instructed not to tell anyone about our invitation. The President didn’t want to give the attack dogs media time before the dinner. Afterward, there was no story, and Paula loved it.

On the drive back to the townhouse, Paula said there would be congresspeople from both sides of the aisle at the dinner, so be careful. They will bait you into saying something and make it a political issue. Chase told Paula he would be Sergeant Schultz, and he knows nothing. But if they get personal, all bets are off, and Paula laughed and said, be careful.

Arriving at the townhouse, Chase went to his bedroom, showered, put on his tux, and went to the kitchen. Paula entered, tied my bow tie, and then the town car arrived. The drive was short, but we waited 20 minutes in line to get inside. The President and First Lady welcomed us, and then the Prime Minister of Japan bowed. Chase returned it and said (in Japanese) we’d met before Mr. Prime Minister. It was four or so years ago at the American embassy in Japan. Your daughter Akira and he spent time together. Please tell her Chase Reynolds says hello and that older women don’t scare me anymore, and he moved on.

Paula asked what that was all about. Chase told her that Akira, the Prime Minister’s daughter, and he learned how to kiss four years ago at an American Embassy dinner. She was sixteen, and he was twelve, and Paula said shit and laughed. The reception line ended, the press was excused, and the dinner began. The dinner was good, and afterward, the president and prime minister gave speeches. The exit line was formed when they were done, and photos were taken as they left. Then the press interviewed the dinner guests outside, and Paula and Chase avoided them, got in our town car, and rode home.

It was after 11 pm when we got to the townhouse and went directly to our bedrooms. Chase hung up his tux, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, which was more instructions of some type, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chase woke up at 4 am again, put on my sweats, and ran using his senses to check everything around him. Returning to the townhouse, he showered, dressed, packed, and drank his protein shake. Then he went outside, got the newspaper, and returned to the kitchen. The headline on the front page was Whitehouse State Dinner with a picture of the President, First Lady, Japan’s Prime Minister, and his wife. Then, on the second page was a picture of Chase greeting the President. The caption said movie star and model Chase Reynolds attends State Dinner. Then they had a picture of Paula next and about 20 more guests.

Paula entered and asked how we rated in our picture placement. Chase said the top of the second page, and she said good, that’s prime placement. Those people below us will be pissed they didn’t place higher, and she laughed. Paula explained that only 20 people got their picture in the paper. They rate each attendee and then place them accordingly. The rest is listed somewhere in the story. The higher you place, the more invitations you get. Chase said he could hardly wait, and we laughed. The car arrived to take us to the airport, so we loaded our bags and took off.

The airport was busy, but we got through security with time to spare. Anna wasn’t so lucky and just made the flight as they closed the airplane door. She sat beside Paula and questioned why she wasn’t told about the State Dinner. Paula used my excuse to shut down any questions about the invitation. But questions persisted about what happened during the dinner. He tuned it out and worked on his program, checking it for bugs and errors.

After dinner was served, Chase reclined his seat and closed his eyes. He sensed someone near him, and he grabbed their hand. Chase opened his eyes and saw fear in the eyes of the man’s hand he held. Chase asked why he was reaching for his laptop. He said he wasn’t but lost his balance and was grabbing something for support. Chase told him to get away from him before he got pissed, and he hurried away.

Chase signaled the flight attendant and asked if she had seen the man who had just left his seat. She said yes, and he told her he had tried to take my laptop. If I’m right, he’s taken other items from passengers and will try to exit the plane quickly. The attendant said she notify the authorities, and they would detain him. Then she thanked him for the tip. The rest of the flight was uneventful, and when we landed, he was right. The man dashed to the front of the plane and was detained by airport police.

On the way to baggage claim, Paula and Anna asked what had happened. Chase told them he tried to steal my laptop, and he caught him. The man gave him a bullshit excuse, and he let him go. But he told the flight attendant he could have stolen other passengers’ items. The guy dashed the door, and authorities detained him. They said no one thinks about theft on an airplane. Chase said that’s why thieves get away with it.

Hank was waiting for us and said the underwear model returned laughing. Chase said careful, Hank, or I’d tell everyone you taught me the ropes and Paula and Anna laughed. The drive to the ranch was quick, with no traffic, and Cassy went crazy when we arrived. She had three people to welcome and check out but finally settled down and got her treats. Chase said goodnight, headed straight to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, which was more instructions of some type, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Then Chase was woken up by Anna and Paula giving him a dual blow job. When he came, he drifted back into a deep sleep after the energy surge. Chase woke up again with Anna riding him, and he came again and went into a semi-conscious state. He knew someone else had hopped on and assumed it was Paula, and that was all he remembered.

Chase woke up early and was in bed alone, so he put on sweats and ran. Cassy joined him, and he used his senses to guide us in the dark. Returning to the house, Cassy got her treat, and then he showered, dressed, drank his protein shake, and went to the kitchen. Beth came into the kitchen with the newspaper. She said 007 visits Whitehouse State Dinner, sets the newspaper before me, laughs, and starts breakfast.

Paula walked in as he read the front page headline and grabbed the newspaper. She said listen to this. Chase Reynolds attends the Whitehouse State Dinner in a Tom Ford 007 tux accompanied by our Senator Paul Davis. He greets the President and First Lady in English (British?). Then, he greets the Japanese Prime Minister and his wife in Japanese, conversing with them like they were friends. He said something funny because the Prime Minister and his wife laughed when he left.

Paula was laughing, and Anna entered and grabbed the newspaper. Paula asked what he had said to them, which was so funny. Chase asked if she remembered he told her about meeting them at an Embassy Dinner in Japan four years ago. The Japanese Prime Minister’s daughter was sixteen, and he was twelve, and she gave me my first kiss. He told them to tell Akira their daughter hello for me, and older women don’t scare me anymore.

Everyone laughed hard, and then Paula said you better hope the Japanese press doesn’t pick up that tidbit of information. Everyone settled down, ate breakfast, went to the den, and Chase called home. Mom answered and put it on speakerphone. She asked what he did at the State Dinner to create such a shit storm. Chase said he did nothing; he had witnesses, and everyone laughed. Mom said John Russell called and said they were overwhelmed by the phone calls.

They laughed when he told them about the State Dinner and the Arizona newspaper headlines. Chase promised to call tomorrow, and we said goodbye. Then Jessie Banks, my coordinator from CK, called. She asked if he had fun at the State Dinner last night laughing. Jessie said he might want to tune in to the entertainment channel when you can. Our phones have been ringing off the hook, and Calvin is extremely pleased with the press coverage we’re getting. Jessie said goodbye and said I’ll call you next week.

Paula turned on the TV and selected the entertainment channel. Chase told Anna and Paula he was going to the stables. The horses were happy to see him, and Chase gave Midnight, Missy, and Molly apples and attention. He promised to take them for a ride later and returned to the house. Paula and Anna were ready to shop at the mall CK store. On the way, he told them this was a bad idea. With all the press coverage, it could turn ugly quickly.

They said we only wanted to get a few things, and Chase told them famous last words, and they laughed. We arrived at the CK store, and luckily, there were only a few customers. The manager welcomed us, and he got four pairs of jeans, four long-sleeved shirts, and underwear. They got what they needed, or so they said. Chase wasn’t paying attention as he was signing autographs. After an hour, he thanked the staff for their help, left two autographed posters, and left quickly.

On the way to the ranch, Chase asked if they got the few things they needed. Paula and Anna laughed and said, for now, we might need to go back in a few weeks. He groaned, and they laughed and said you brought a lot of business to that store today. Anna said she wouldn’t be surprised if they had a record sales day.

Arriving at the ranch, we ate a late lunch, and then Paula and Anna took off to do congressional stuff. Chase changed into his riding gear and went to the stables. He saddled Midnight and let Missy and Molly out of their stalls, and we took off for our ride. Something directed me to a canyon, and a pool of water was at the end. Chase let the horses get a drink, and he climbed the hill behind the pond. I stopped at a boulder, took a nearby rock, and broke off a piece. Something was important about it, so he took it and put it in Midnight’s saddle bag.

When we returned to the stables, Paula, Anna, Hank, Stephany, Rose, and Cassy were waiting. Chase put the horses in the corral, and Hank said they followed him like sheep. Chase said, their horses, Hank, not sheep. Maybe you need to get your eyes checked, and everyone laughed. Anna asked how he got them to follow him and not run off. Chase said he leads, and they follow, and Hank said they act differently around Chase. He unsaddled Midnight, took the rock to his room, changed clothes, and returned to the den.

Chase sent Paula an email and asked her to open it. When she did, he asked her to install the attached app. Paula did it, and Chase told her to add it to her startup screen, so he called her. She answered it and said it was garbled. Chase told her to press the new app with G on it, and my voice was crystal clear when she did. Paula said shit, you’ve built an encrypted phone app. He told her it wasn’t encrypted, just distorted, but you must have the key like encryption. Now, we can talk on the phone, and no one can intercept the call.

Anna said I want it, too. Chase told them it would only work if both parties had the app. But remember, never tell anyone about it. If the government finds out, they will seize it under national security and probably come after me. They agreed, and he installed the app on Anna’s phone. Chase told them there were a few more things they should know. The app can’t be copied, and if someone tries, it erases itself. The last thing is if you hold the app button for five seconds, the app erases. It is a fail-safe in case someone forces you to use the app. They called each other for the next ten minutes, played with the app, and loved it.

Then Jessie Banks, his CK rep, called and said he made many people happy today. The Phoenix store had a record sales day, and Mr. Klein was very happy. We have to rush the shipment to restock the store. Jessie asked how long he had stayed and signed autographs. Chase told her about an hour and left after he ran out of promo material. She said your resupply should be delivered Friday or Saturday and to keep up the good work, and she hung up.

Then Paula got a call and said I have to take this in private and left. When Paula returned, she laughed and said that it was the President. He wanted to know what you said to the Japanese Prime Minister and his wife at the State Dinner. When I told him the story, he laughed and said it explained the Prime Minister’s request. The President said to expect an invitation to Japan soon and said goodbye. Chase said shit, that’s all he needs, and they laughed.

Beth arrived with Cassy and cooked dinner. Hank came in with Rose, and we ate dinner. Hank said it’s been quiet since you’ve been away. But with State Dinner and Billboard Boy, I’m turning on the perimeter alarm tonight. Chase said it’s okay to be jealous, Hank. Not all of us can rock a pair of underwear, but if you start running, you can, too, and everyone laughed.

After dinner, Hank Cassy and I went out and checked the alarm sensors, replaced the batteries, and returned to the ranch house. Hank said load and keep your firearms handy. I have a feeling we’ll get visitors tonight, and we said goodnight. When Chase came in, Paula and Anna were watching the news, and he asked if anything was interesting. They laughed and said the newscaster said you caused mayhem at the Mall today. They sent a field reporter to the Mall and interviewed employees and customers. It seems your appearance was good for all the stores at the Mall. They have never had that volume of people on a non-holiday weekday.

Chase asked if they got some attention, and they said yes, which they were happy about. He said goodnight and went to his bedroom and looked at the rock. He would need to get a Dremel and accessories when he gets home. Chase kept the rock with him as he sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, which was more instructions of some type, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

The alarm went off at 1 am, so Chase got up and dressed quickly, grabbed his firearms, and met Hank out front. We drove the mule towards the gate and stopped 50 yards short. Hank went left, and Chase went right when a shot rang out. Hank said I’ve hit and Chase sensed the area and fired his rifle four times, killing the intruder. Then he ran to Hank, and he said the bullet just grazed me but ruined my jacket. He helped Hank up, and they went to see the intruder. He had an AR-15 and a Glock 19 but no ID.

We loaded him into the mule and drove the road looking for his vehicle. It was a mile away, parked off the road. We searched the car, and still no ID could be found, but a picture of Anna was under the front seat. Chase took the gear from his back seat, and they returned to the ranch house. Hank said to go back to bed, and I’ll dump his body where the animals can have dinner, and he took off. Chase went back to bed and fell asleep.

Waking up early, Chase put on his sweats and ran. Cassy joined him, and he used his senses to guide us in the darkness. Returning to the house, he gave Cassy her treat, showered, dressed, and drank his protein drink. Chase put the rock in his bag, went to the kitchen, and met Beth, who arrived with the newspaper. She laughed, set the newspaper before me, and started breakfast. The headline read Calvin Klein Model visits the Mall creating Mayhem.

Paula entered, looked at the newspaper, and laughed. She said they got it wrong. The headline should have said that the Calvin Klein Model visits the mall, creating record sales. Anna arrived and asked if he stimulated pantie sales, too, and Beth, Paula, and Anna laughed. Then Hank arrived with Rose and rained on everyone’s parade. He said we had an armed intruder last night. I got winged, but Chase killed him before he could finish the job.

He had no ID, and his car was clean, too. We only found a picture of Anna under the car’s front seat. Someone hired a hitman to take Anna out, and they knew she was there. He had an AR-15 and Glock 19 on him, so he was prepared to kill everyone if necessary. We didn’t call the police, so whoever ordered the hit doesn’t know if it has been successful yet.

Paula asked where the man was now, and Hank and I laughed. Hank said he was feeding the wild animals or should say fed them, and we laughed again. Anna said our trip to the mall told everyone she was there. Shit, what do we do now? Chase said nothing. Hiring a professional costs a lot of money, so you’re safe for now. Hank said Chase was right. The only thing we have to worry about is the one who hired him getting pissed and trying themselves.

Paula said, let’s stay here and go back to DC tomorrow as planned. Maybe we’ll get lucky, and they will try again tonight, and we can end it. It has to have something to do with David, and I’m wondering why they chose you over him. The breakfast party broke up, and Paula asked Anna if she would call David. Anna said no, but that brings up an interesting question. Why hasn’t he called me? Let’s check the local news and see if something has happened to him.

Chase looked David up on the internet, and he said David hadn’t called because he was on vacation. He went skiing for a week in Colorado and left Friday morning. Anna said this is really bad. First, David hates skiing and the cold weather. That’s why he loves Arizona so much. Second, David didn’t call me and left after we arrived. Paula told her to check your bank account, and Anna said he wouldn’t. She pulled out her phone, checked, and said shit. David took 100k from my savings account, the bastard.

Paula asked her to check how the funds were withdrawn. Was it a wire transfer, interbank transfer, or withdrawal? Anna said wire transfer, and he withdrew 10k from his account Friday morning. Chase said it didn’t look good. If David hired the hitman, he had to know the police would suspect him and check the bank accounts. He told Anna to prepare for some bad news if he was right, and everyone said shit.

Chase told everyone he was going riding, and they said we’d go too. Midnight, Missy and Molly were happy to go out again, leading everyone to the canyon he visited yesterday. Paula said she hadn’t been here before, and we let the horses have a drink of water. She said the pond had to be spring-fed because we hadn’t had rain in weeks. On the way back to the ranch, Chase thought it was strange that the horses had gone to the canyon without his direction.

After caring for the horses, we went inside, showered, changed clothes, and met in the kitchen for lunch. During lunch, Paula said to Anna let’s see if we can get an early fight out in the morning. That way, we go together and agree that it would be best. After lunch, Paula found an early flight on United and booked two tickets for Anna and her. His flight departed 30 minutes before theirs, so it worked out perfectly.

Hank stopped by and asked for his assistance. We drove to where he dropped off the hitman, and all that was left were shredded clothes and shoes. He picked up clothing pieces, and Chase picked up the boots. He noticed the heel was loose and twisted it. Chase found a USB stick inside, put it in his pocket, and said nothing to Hank. We took the clothes to the burn pit and threw them inside. Then Hank dropped him off at the house and left.

Chase went inside, and Paula and Anna were busy with their computers, so he went to his room. Chase plugged the USB stick into his laptop and hacked the password. He was surprised at how fast he did it and viewed the files. First, Chase copied it to his cloud account and opened his bank account. It confirmed his suspicions that David hired him. A 100k wire transfer was made Wednesday afternoon. The hitman had over 1.5 million in his Grand Cayman bank account. Next, Chase checked his client files, and he had a detailed itinerary of Anna’s travel from Washington, DC, and her arrival time here. It also listed Paula’s Ranch address and a description.

He reformatted the USB drive, shut down his laptop, and packed his bags. When Chase was done, he went to the kitchen, and Beth cooked dinner with Cassy’s help. Paula and Anna left the study, discussing their plans for next week. Paula asked him what he thought the time frame would be if David were involved. Chase told her it would be a week because he’s expected to return next Friday. He would be missed after that, and a search would begin.

We ate dinner, and everyone was deep in thought. After dinner, he said good night and went to his bedroom. Chase sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, which was more instructions of some type, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

Chapter 4

Waking up early, Chase put on his sweats and ran. Cassy joined me, and he used his senses to guide us in the darkness. Returning to the house, he gave Cassy her treat, showered, dressed, and drank his protein drink. Chase went to the kitchen, and Beth was cooking breakfast, so he read the newspaper. There was still an article about the mall, but it moved off the front page.

Anna and Paula arrived, followed by Hank, and we ate breakfast. After breakfast, Chase said goodbye to Midnight, Missy, and Molly and loaded the Esclade. Before leaving, he said goodbye to Cassy and told her he would see her in two weeks. Chase got kisses, and everyone laughed. There wasn’t any traffic on Sunday morning, and we arrived early. Once through security, we said goodbye, and Paula said we’ll keep you updated. Anna said I might want to go to CK and get a dark gray or black suit, just in case. Chase told her he would, and we went to our gates.

They were calling first class, so Chase walked right on and sat down. An older man sat across from him, and he could smell the alcohol across the aisle. Then he said they let all kinds in first class now. Chase waved to the flight attendant and said if you don’t do anything with that drunk, he will and won’t be pretty. She said I’d take care of it and left. Ten minutes later, two police officers came onboard and escorted the belligerent drunk asshole away. He was cussing up a storm about his rights.

Chase was laughing when the flight attendant returned smiling. She asked for his autograph and handed me a magazine. He said they didn’t waste time getting these out and asked her name. Chase autographed it for her, and she practically floated away. The flight was short, and it almost took longer to get his luggage than the flight. Finally, he was on his way home and arrived just before lunch.

Grandmother and Mom were glad to see Chase and said he had some heavy boxes in the garage. Chase went upstairs, unpacked, then brought his dry cleaning downstairs and went to the garage. He carried the two boxes into the study and opened them. One box was filled with promo photos, and the other was posters. Mom called, and lunch was ready, so he took one of five promo photos and brought them to the kitchen.

While we ate lunch, Chase set the photos on the table and continued to eat. They stopped eating and looked at the pictures. Chase said he had posters if they weren’t big enough, and they laughed. They both wanted a complete set, so he went to the study and got another set. When Chase returned, he told them what was happening with Anna and asked if they wanted to go with me to the CK store and get a black suit. They couldn’t say yes fast enough, so he restocked his shoulder bag and got three posters.

On the way, Chase told them what happened at the Phoenix store, so when he said let’s go, we leave fast so no one would follow us. They agreed, and when we entered the store, there weren’t any customers. The manager picked a black and dark gray suit and marked them up for tailoring. Then we chose four dress shirts, ties, belts, and socks, and we were done, or so he thought. The store was filled with customers, and he signed autographs for over an hour and a half. When Chase was out of promo photos, he autographed the posters for the staff, and we left quickly. Mom and Grandmother had five bags each, and he had one.

On the way home, Chase had Mom take the long way to be sure we weren’t followed. When we arrived, the clothes were left in the laundry to be washed or dry-cleaned. He took his belts and ties upstairs to his room and returned. Mom and Grandmother were preparing dinner, and Chase asked if they got everything they needed. They laughed and said no but would get what they missed when he picked up his suits on Thursday.

During dinner, Chase told them he was not spending another two hours in the CK store on Thursday. He signed over 200 promo photos today, and he’s not doing it again on Thursday. If you want to shop more, wait a week or two, and then we’ll do it again. Then he changed the subject and asked when they were going to the cabin again. Grandmother said we were thinking about going on Friday or Saturday. Chase said it sounded good and looked forward to escaping the media and fans.

After dinner, we watched 60 Minutes, and then Chase said goodnight and went to his bedroom. He practiced his telekinesis, sensed the area, went to bed, and fell asleep. Then, he received another burst of information, which was more instructions of some type, as he drifted into a deep sleep.

She asked Chase if all the attention was wearing him down.

Chase said yes, and this past week wasn’t good, and it won’t get better anytime soon. There will be interview requests this week. The CK print ads were released over the weekend, along with the expected funeral. And he forgot to tell you there’s an invitation to visit Japan. Paula received a phone call from the President, who told her about it. So, he would expect it to be an official visit, and he was requested to attend. Now you know why he wants to avoid more CK store visits and autograph signings.

After breakfast, he went to the study and did his weekly online coursework. Then Chase called Professor Kimura, and she asked if 007 had returned from his latest mission, laughing. Chase said not you, too. Ren said it was not me but the campus newspaper. I’ve saved you a few copies, and he said shit. Ren said I’m glad you called because the agreement hasn’t been finalized yet. But I’ve got a programming project for you and will email it to you. It’s best to avoid the campus for a week or two. The bookstore ran out of magazines with your CK ads, but don’t worry. They got restocked this morning. He thanked Ren for the update, said he would email the project when it was done, and said goodbye.

Mom said lunch was ready, so he shut off the computer and went to the kitchen. During lunch, Chase told them about his conversation with Professor Kimura and avoiding the campus for a few weeks. Hopefully, the feeding frenzy will die by then, and he can safely return to school., I’ve also changed my mind about picking up my suits on Thursday. I’ll call the store today and tell them I’m out of town, and you’ll pick them up. He has a gut feeling they are planning something for me on Thursday.

Then Jessie Banks, his coordinator from CK, called and said my store visit on Sunday broke another sales record. Chase told Jessie that’s great, but print ads came out over the weekend. I’ve been advised, for my safety, to avoid campus for a few weeks. Jessie said shit, and Chase agreed and told her we needed to talk about personal protection for interviews and shoots. Jessie said she would take care of it and asked what he was doing about school. Chase told her all his classes are online, but he does programming for a professor on campus twice a week. I’ve arranged to do it remotely for now.
