Chapter 1

Raiden Augustus Carnell was born to Andrew and Kathy Carnell on August 15, 2000. Andrew and Kathy were CIA undercover operatives working out of the US embassy in China. Raiden was, oops, baby, and when Kathy discovered she was pregnant, they decided to have the baby there. Once Raiden was old enough to fly, Kathy brought Raiden to her parents’ house to raise. William and Martha Hunt were ecstatic at the opportunity to raise Raiden.
