I adjust my black Victorian-style gown. The skirt isn’t as full as I wanted and the snowflakes don’t have all the glitter they’re supposed to, but the corset pushes my breasts up until I remember how I looked effortlessly at twenty.
Smiling at my breasts and hourglass shape in my mirror, I spray some glitter over my curled blonde hair and wink at myself. I might be pushing sixty, but the camera still loves me, and I still have a drool-worthy body. Sometimes, it just takes a little primping to perfect it to my very high standards.
Just like my Christmas-themed Halloween Masquerade. Santa’s village has been open for the last couple of weeks and Arnie, our grown-up children and my brother's family have been busy making everything perfect for our visitors.
It’s now my turn, and I’m so excited about the party. We have over a thousand people visiting every day, and tonight, nearly three hundred have RSVP'd to attend the party. Arnie promised he’d stop by, but I’m not too sure he’ll make it. I don’t blame him, though… the village this year has been full-on.
The main hall at the center of the village has been transformed. I’ve made sure it’s flawless, dripping with crystal icicles, trees trimmed in fake snow and stars. It’s Christmas, but upgraded. Since there have to be some Halloween elements, I’ve included jack-o-lanterns that shine as if they’ve been covered with a layer of ice and shine with blue fake flames. There are spider webs that hold that same look and skeleton ice skaters as well.
